Welcome to Wiggle Butts Day Home.
Perfect for your special pup’s boarding care needs
About
Dogs have always been at the heart of my life. When creating Wiggle Butts Day Home in 2024, my mission was to offer a safe, loving place that feels like a true second home. I know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else. This space is built on trust, comfort, and genuine care where both their physical and emotional wellbeing come first, while giving parents peace of mind.
I’m Bonnie! A devoted dog Mom who believes in living simply and with purpose, being healthy and active, and growing continually. My Girl is my whole world, and her favorite days are all day Chuck-it-Athons! I love being outdoors, and value mental wellness, meaningful connection, and creating a calm joyful environment.
Our vision is to be the leading safe haven for dogs – known for unmatched care, compassion, and exceptional boarding within our region. Rooted in trust, transparency, and peace of mind, we strive to create a safe, mindful and inclusive community where dogs and their humans thrive together. Beyond boarding, we aspire to build collaborative relationships that nurture both pets and people, especially when they need us most.
With over twenty years of experience raising and enriching dogs, my Girl and I are excited to meet you!

Pups In My Home
Pups are in a designated area of my home, to sleep and eat; my heart couldn’t do this any other way.
Education and Credentials
I'm committed to always learning, whether about the human-animal bond, canine behavior, the vast ways to support people and their pups as a family unit, and more. Sharing your life with dogs can be magical and challenging. I strive to be a compassionate and steady presence for dogs and their humans, providing a safe and enjoyable place to stay with a supportive experience all-around. For clarification, here is what I am not: Veterinarian, Animal Health Tech, Vet Nutritionist, Animal Behaviorist or Consultant, Certified Trainer, Groomer, etc; I can however connect you to experts.

** Our focus is calm, quiet, intentional care. We are not a loud, chaotic free-for-all. Your pup will learn, socialize and have fun here, but we’re not a replacement for the training and guidance you need to provide at home. We will positively reinforce your efforts – not take them over. **
Do You Need Care for your Pup?
There are so many reasons to need care at some point.
Here are just a few:
Vacation • Out-of-town events • Wedding / Honeymoon • Working away • Shift work, or scheduling conflicts • Unpredictable on-call schedules • Emergencies • Illness, injury, surgery, recovery • Moving / Relocating
Life happens unexpectedly and is stressful enough.
- It’s a great idea to have both you and your pup get comfortable with someone else’s care when it’s not yet needed, so when the unexpected does happen, it’s one less stressor.
- Also a good idea to have more than one option, in the event your usual care provider is unavailable.
- Whatever the reason or circumstances for care, there is no judgment here.
Come for a Complimentary Meet and Greet!
Meet and Greet is required.
- Parent is present for the first 30 mins – 1 hour. The dog spends an additional 4 hours with me.
- Meets are outdoors, and booked according to safe weather – please come prepared!
- Only parent present
- Why five hours? Because you can’t truly get to know a dog or their human, in 15-30 minutes, in a brand new environment, and my Vet partners agree!
** After the Meet, we’ll indicate if we’re the right fit! **
~ We do not provide care services on the same day as a Meet and Greet ~

What You Can Expect - How it works
For health and insurance reasons, only pups in my home, no parents. No exceptions. Please plan your visit accordingly.
-
- I am happy to provide photos of the rooms dogs are staying in, or even short videos to help you feel comfortable.
- Exact location and directions will be provided upon booking a Meet ‘n Greet.
- If there are signs of illness or unacceptable behavior occurring, you will be called for immediate pick-up.
- I’m a human that is not attached to tech. All pups with me receive the best care possible, therefore:
- I will provide updates a few times daily, but not constantly.
- If you call, you are likely to leave a message. I won’t be available to answer calls and messages instantly, all day. Don’t worry I will get back to you!
- During seasonal sickness waves, I may be masked when interacting with you. I am no good to you/your pup, or my family, if I become ill.
- Please be aware: Located in the country, my range road is maintained by the County. During winter months, while the County aims to plow as quickly as possible, sometimes the road can be tricky due to snow and drifting.

What’s a day like, how much exercise and socialization does my pup get?
- Socialization is on each dogs’ terms – listening to and respecting their needs. This is carefully matched by age, size, and play style to ensure safety and fun.
- Days are shaped by the weather and schedule. In extreme temps, we do short, frequent outdoor breaks for safety and exercise.
- Several rest periods are built into the day, including one hour after all meals to ensure safety, and reduce bloat risk.
What Should I Bring?
For sanitary and health reasons beds, bedding and group toys are provided.
- Food: Please bring enough for your pups stay and a little extra (just in case!). Please send in Ziploc bags with your food scoop. You can bring your pup’s favorite sealed treats.
- Medication: Please bring in the original container with label, issued by your Vet.
- Toys: You can bring these as long as toys are non-fabric and can be easily sterilized.
- Bones: You can bring a bone so long as they aren’t the type that cause a choking hazard and require supervision while enjoying.
- Collar, Harness (if one is used).
What are your Sanitizing and Cleaning Protocols?
- Products used are Vet recommended and animal safe.
- Crates are sanitized after every pup.
- Bedding is freshly washed and replaced after every pup.
- Bowls and toys are sanitized daily.
What are the Beds and Crates Like?
- Custom made orthopedic mattress foam beds, along with cozy blankets, in various sizes. These have undergone many rounds of quality assurance testing by my critters to ensure pup satisfaction <3
- Our rest spaces are matched to dogs’ size while ensuring comfort. We use roomy exercise pens along with a couple homestyle crates.
How do I know my pup will be safe while staying with you?
- All outdoor time is supervised.
- All dog-to-dog play and interactions are supervised.
- No outdoor products used that are harmful to animals.
- The entire acreage is enclosed with page wire fencing and gate.
- We have high-quality air purifiers with HEPA filters in each room and Adaptil diffusers.
- Resident animals are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated and regularly receive deworming and parasite prevention treatment.
What if the Meet and Greet is too long for my pup?
- If the length and structure of the Meet n Greet is difficult for your pup, then we’ll take it slow, in baby steps. Your pup will not be pushed into a situation that will knowingly cause fear or anxiety.
- So, as long as you are committed to take slow steps, then we’ll make a plan that’s comfortable. It’s similar to recommendations Vet staff offer parents countless times – if a pup is afraid of going into the Clinic, stop in periodically for tiny visits, just to say hi, get a treat and some love, when you’re not there for an appointment.
